Alexandria Business Association participated in an expanded meeting held in Alexandria in cooperation with Ministry of Education and Technical Education and Icon-Institute .
The meeting brought together representatives of the dual education system, the Ministry of Housing’s Construction and Building Crafts Training Authority, Arab Contractors Company, leading construction sector companies, and ABA’s Housing Committee chaired by Eng. Hany Abou El Saad.
Discussions focused on the progress achieved so far in implementing the dual education model within the construction and building sector at Talaat Harb School in Alexandria, while also addressing current challenges, implementation mechanisms, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation among stakeholders to ensure the project’s success.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to prepare a memorandum of cooperation between Alexandria Business Association and Arab Contractors Company under the sponsorship of Icon-Institute , aiming to support dual education and vocational training programs in the construction sector across Alexandria Governorate.
Participants also highlighted ABA’s pivotal role in supporting and developing the technical education system in Alexandria through practical industry expertise and private sector engagement, particularly in the construction and building sector.
This meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to foster stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors and create new opportunities for developing technical education in line with real market demands.
