Alexandria Business Association (ABA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization headquartered in Alexandria. Established in 1989, the Association plays a central role in supporting its members and the business community.
- Supporting the Alexandria region industrially, economically, and socially; strengthening Alexandria’s role as a major economic hub; encouraging investment; and opening new markets to promote sustainable economic and social growth.
- The Alexandria Business Association aims to achieve economic development and improve the business climate through policy research, advocacy, and the enhancement of human capital efficiency.
Association Services & Activities
Foreign Affairs
The Foreign Affairs unit strengthens cooperation and solidifies partnerships between the Association and its members on one hand, and embassies and diplomatic missions operating in the Arab Republic of Egypt on the other, elevating these relations to strategic partnerships in business, environmental sustainability, and community service.
Member Services
Member Services provides economic information and market studies of interest to members through subscriptions to specialized publications, as well as facilitating members’ participation in promotional and economic missions.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility at the Alexandria Business Association contributes to positioning the Association as a platform for development and sustainability in Alexandria. The Association adopts a strategy aimed at promoting and institutionalizing CSR culture among its members through the implementation of development projects.
Advocacy
The Business Climate Measurement initiative was established by the Alexandria Business Association in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in 2008 to assess and improve Egypt’s investment environment through ISLAH and MRI reform indicators for micro-enterprises.

Welcome to the official website of Alexandria Business Association( ABA) , where we work together to support Egypt’s economic development journey. The Association continuously strives to serve the business community through effective engagement with government entities and by fostering local and international partnerships in the fields of training and capacity building through our specialized centers, enhancing workforce skills and improving the business climate. We also continue our role in microfinance, promoting corporate social responsibility, and delivering diversified services through the Association’s subsidiary, Amaal Foundation, so that together we can build a stronger economy and a more resilient society.
