Supporting Export Growth and Strengthening Economic Cooperation with Europe, Alexandria Governor Inspects Factories Accompanied by EU Representatives in the Presence of Alexandria Business Association.
As part of efforts to enhance economic cooperation with Europe, Eng. Ayman Atia, Governor of Alexandria, accompanied by Mr. Nikolaos Zaimis, Head of Trade & investment at the European Union, and in the presence of Eng. Mohamed Hanno, Chairman of Alexandria Business Association (ABA), toured the Amreya Free Zone.
The visit included inspections of several leading factories, including Alex Apparels, Nile Linen Group, and Pharma Plast, where the delegation reviewed production lines and advanced manufacturing technologies.
The Governor emphasized the strategic role of the Free Zone in supporting industry, boosting exports, and creating job opportunities. Meanwhile, the EU delegation praised the industrial development within the Amreya Free Zone and expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Egypt.
The tour was attended by Mr. Ayman Abdel Aziz, Head of the Central Administration of the Free Zone; Dr. Hana Ehab Mohy, Vice Chairman of Alex Apparels; Eng. Said Ahmed, Chairman of Nile Linen Group; and Dr. Mamdouh Attia, Chairman of Pharma Plast.
