Alexandria business Association (ABA) hosted its annual Suhoor on Wednesday, in the presence of Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, and Lt. Gen. Ahmed Khaled, Former Governor of Alexandria, alongside consuls, diplomats, and representatives of foreign entities and international organizations, in addition to officials, board members, and members of the Association. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between the business community, government institutions, and international partners.
During the event, Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, emphasized that the political leadership places significant importance on Alexandria, reflected in the major development projects currently underway across the governorate. These projects represent strong opportunities to support the local economy and enhance the investment climate.
Among the key national projects highlighted were:
Alexandria Metro Project
High-Speed Rail Project
Development of Alexandriaโs Tram System
New roads and transport corridors improving mobility and supporting development.
The Governor also reaffirmed Alexandria Governorateโs commitment to supporting the business community and creating an attractive investment environment, strengthening public-private partnerships to drive sustainable development.

Mr. Mohamed Hanno highlighted thatย (ABA) continues to strengthen its role in supporting economic growth and community development through close cooperation with Alexandria Governorate and the Northern Military Region.
Over the past year, ABA held 25+ meetings with ambassadors, consuls, and commercial attachรฉs to promote investment and trade opportunities in Egypt, while expanding partnerships with leading academic institutions including Alexandria University, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, and Borg El Arab Technological University.
hashtag#ABA is also preparing to launch the โIslah Index,โ which will measure Egyptโs business climate based on feedback from 500 companies across Egypt.
Additionally, the Small and Micro Enterprise Development Project provided EGP 13 billion in financing, benefiting over 700,000 entrepreneurs and supporting economic activity across the country.
