Mohamed Hanno, ABA Chairman (ABA), attended the inauguration of the new Mabaret AlAsafra Capital Hospital branch in Ibrahimia, Alexandria, alongside Eng. Ayman Atia, Governor of Alexandria, and a number of consuls. The new facility is expected to serve more than 100,000 patients annually from Alexandria and neighboring governorates.
Hanno praised the hospital’s advanced capabilities and the role of Mabaret AlAsafra Group for Medical Services in enhancing healthcare services and supporting the medical sector in Alexandria.

The Governor of Alexandria reaffirmed the state’s commitment to developing the healthcare sector and integrating hospitals into the Universal Health Insurance System to improve service quality and accessibility. He also highlighted the important role of Mabaret AlAsafra Group as a leading healthcare institution, noting that the new branch represents a significant addition to Alexandria’s medical infrastructure and reflects growing private sector confidence in healthcare investment.

The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technologies and includes 146 beds, 7 fully equipped operating rooms, advanced radiology and imaging departments, integrated intensive care units, and a 24/7 emergency department. Total investments in the project exceeded EGP 1.3 billion.
The event was attended by Eng. Khaled Morsi, ABA Board Member, Dr. Yehia Amr Morsi, ABA Member and Chairman of Mabaret AlAsafra Group, Dr. Hala Gouda, Board Member of Mabaret AlAsafra Group, and Dr. Raghda Amr Morsi, Board Member of the Group.
