ABA Investment and Finance Committee, headed by Dr. Khalid Hafez, held a meeting with Dr. Ahmed Shireen Korayem, GAFI CEO Deputy for Investment Promotion Mr. Mohamed Abd El Karim Head of IDA, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at ABA HQ.
Ahmed Korayem presented GAFI efforts to stimulate and attract foreign investments into Egypt, he also reviewed the investment incentives offered by Egypt to foreign companies, as well as the incentives offered in special and free economic zones in Egypt that aim to stimulate exports, including tax exemptions, and the promising opportunities the country provides in this regard.
Dr. Khalid Hafez also presented and discussed detailed info of the problems that hinder and delay investment and are caused by the Authority’s administrative apparatus.
