ABA Tax Committee, headed by Mr. Samir El Delgawi, held a meeting with Mr. Ragab Mahrous, Advisor to the head of the Egyptian Tax Authority, The Egyptian Tax Authority to address the updates on Tax Laws and the challenges of implementation process – on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
The discussion revolved around a complete clarification of the definition of commercial and financial transactions with related persons in accordance with Article 30 of Law 91 of 2005, Articles 12 and 13 of Unified Tax Procedures Law No. 206 of 2020.
From ABA side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Mehrem Vice president of ABA Council, Mr. Adel Sabry and Mr. Hossam Abel Wahab – Deputy Heads of Tax Committee, Mr. Abdel Aal Aly Deputy Head of Import and Customs Committee, Mr. Ahmed Farouk Deputy Head of Investment and Finance Committee, Dr. Ahmed Nazeeh Abulras Deputy Head of Health Committee, as well as Dr. Abdel Rassoul Abdel Hady and other ABA members.
