????  As part of the economic role of Alexandria business Association, Mr. Mohamed Hanno, ABA Chairman, participated in a working breakfast organized by The World Bank, in the presence of Ms. Anchula Kant, Managing Director and Chief Economist of the World Bank Group, to discuss economic opportunities and challenges.

????️The event discussed the current economic landscape, including the opportunities and challenges facing the #business community. Hanno praised the Egyptian government’s efforts to improve the business climate, particularly with the launch of the national narrative for economic development and the matrix of economic reforms that were recently announced.
????Hanno also pointed out that there is a gap between the announced reform policies and the state’s administrative apparatus’s ability to implement them, which requires greater effort in terms of institutional reform and administrative development of government agencies.

????The meeting was attended by a number of prominent figures, including: Dr. Ziad Bahaa El-Din, former Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Hisham Ezz El-Arab, CEO and Executive Board Member of the Commercial International Bank (CIB); Eng. Tarek Tawfik, Vice President of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, and Dr. Abla Abdel Latif, Executive Director and Director of Research at the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies.
