Towards Smarter and More Efficient Ports to Serve Egyptian Trade

???? A delegation from Alexandria business Association (ABA) visited the Alexandria Port Authority to explore new opportunities for logistical and maritime cooperation and learn about the latest developments transforming the port into a smart hub through the single window system.

???? Rear Admiral Ehab Salah, Alexandria Port Authority Chairman, welcomed #ABA delegation comprising the heads and deputies of the Import, Customs, Export, and #Transport&#Logistics Committees for a comprehensive review of the port’s ongoing development projects, including the dry bulk terminal, container terminal at Pier 100, and the new Max Port development plan.

???? The delegation, consisting of Mr. Abdel Aal Ali, Head of Customs Committee, Mr. Walid El Kayar, Head of Import Committee, Mr. Munir Shehfa, Head of Export Committee, and Eng. Mohamed Hassan Abdelkader, Head of Transport and Logistics Committee, and his deputies, Ms. Sherin El Hakim and Mr. Ahmed Ghoneim.

Held a number of meetings with officials from the Food Safety Authority, including Dr. Ola Wali, Head of the Alexandria Branch, and Mr. Ahmed Farghal, head of the Authority’s Alexandria #Export Branch, with the aim of supporting coordination and facilitating procedures related to exports and #imports.

???? The visit further included the participation of a delegation from the Food Export Council, headed by Dr. Tamim El Dawi, Deputy Executive Director, and 35 council members, as part of the ongoing cooperation protocol between the two entities reinforcing integration efforts to support Egypt’s business community and trade competitiveness.
