Alexandria Business Association Signs Cooperation Protocol with the Egyptian Tax Authority During ABA Customs Committee Conference

During a special conference organized by Alexandria Business Association “#ABA” hosted Ms. Rasha Abdel Aal, Head of the Egyptian #TaxAuthority, to discuss advancing tax #reforms and enhancing the investment climate. The conference concluded with the signing of a cooperation protocol aimed at addressing key investor challenges.

????Ms. Abdel Aal reviewed upcoming VAT amendments, new facilities for investors, and progress in the Authority’s digital transformation, including risk-based inspections and strengthened data integration.

????Mr. Mohamed Hanno praised the Egyptian Tax Authority for its clear policy improvements and new facilitation measures supporting taxpayers.
????He also commended the Ministry of Finance for its digital transformation efforts and tax reforms that help remove obstacles for investors.

????Mr. Samir Delgawi, Head of the Customs Committee, highlighted the positive impact of recent decisions regarding payment lists and electronic declarations, noting their role in integrating the informal #economy and improving the overall #investment climate.

????The meeting brought together members of ABA Board, Dr. Abdel Moneim Hafez, Dr. Mohamed Mehrem, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Mohsen, Eng. Magdy Elsisa, Mr. Walid El Kayar, Dr. Mohamed Nasif, and Mr. Adel Sabri, along with several ABA members, committee representatives.
