Alexandria business Association (ABA) has signed a cooperation protocol with Senghor University during the International Conference on Project Management in the African Context (CIMPCA), held in parallel with the inauguration of the university’s new campus in BorgElArab on Tuesday.
This partnership aligns with Senghor University’s expansion strategy and its growing role in supporting development and strengthening human capacities across the African continent.
Mr. Mohamed Hanno , ABA Chairman, stated that the protocol aims to support Africa’s development by preparing high-level leadership cadres in both the public and private sectors, while enhancing communication and collaboration within the Francophone community.
The agreement also includes organizing professional networking events and job fairs to connect students with industry leaders and business owners, in addition to facilitating exchange visits and hosting scientific seminars to explore collaboration opportunities and share expertise.

Mr. Hanno highlighted that ABA members will benefit from access to complementary training workshops offered through Senghor’s programs, along with invitations to participate in the university’s scientific forums and conferences.

During the visit, Senghor University arranged an introductory tour for ABA representatives’ Alexandrian business leaders including Mr. Munir Shehfa, Chairman of the Export Committee, Dr. Hani elmenshawy, Mr. Basil Marco, and Ms. Marwa Abuheif , Director of External Relations.
The delegation explored the new campus and its advanced academic and technical facilities, which open wider doors for future academic and professional collaboration.
