ABA Organized a meeting with IFC on 1^st of June 2023. IFC is a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries.

This meeting aims to provide support and assistance to local top agricultural exporters who wish to expand their business and need assistance. The meeting was attended by Mr. Mostafa Heikal- ABA Head of Export Committee and Mr. Mohamed Abdel Mohsen – ABA Head Import and Customs Committee and numbers of ABA Members and owners of agribusiness companies. A presentation was presented on IFC’s strategy for financing development projects, IFC’s agribusiness investment Criteria and IFC Advisory Services.

IFC Advisory Services in Agribusiness are delivered via 4 “platforms” ahead of, post or together with Investment Services: Food Safety (FS), Sustainable Crop Production (SCP), Sustainable Protein (SP), and Smallholder Supply Chain (SSC).
