ABA delegation, headed by Mr. Mohamed Hanno, ABA Chairman, and Mr. Mohamed Hassan Abdel Qader, Head of the Transport Committee, and a group of ABA Esteemed Board Members, organized an external visit to Alexandria Port Authority on Tuesday 2nd of May 2023. Appreciating the importance of Alexandria port and its effect on all the Economic sectors in Egypt, this visit was organized by the Transport Committee in ABA to give the Members a brief about the latest projects and developments that took place in the Port.
Welcomed our guests in the port, Major General Nehad Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Port Authority, accompanied by  a group of The Esteemed Board Members and Leaders of the Alexandria Port Authority.

Welcoming our guests, Major General Nehad Shaheen emphasized on their main objective, which is to provide good service to all the sectors in Egypt. He also gave a brief about the opening of “The New Tahya Misr station project”, which is considered a breakthrough in the field of transport, as well as the establishment of the “New Al-Max port”. Which will link between Alexandria port with Dekheila Port, in addition to other important projects such as” the Third Container terminal” at Dekheila port (berth 100), and the projects of “the New Logistics Zone”.
 Major General Nehad Shaheen concluded that through the development taking place in Alexandria and all other ports, Egypt will become one of the best countries in the field of transport and logistics in the world during the next three years.
