Alexandria Business Association headed by Mr. Mohamed Hanno, ABA Chairman welcomed Mr. Mark G. Scullion – Trade Commissioner, and Members of the Trade Section of the Canadian Embassy to Egypt, ​​Ms. Alia Salem- Trade Officer, and Mr. Joseph Tadros – Trade Officer, on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 at ABA Headquarters.

Mr. Mohamed Hanno gave an overview of the Association Activities, in addition to an overview of the importance of Alexandria Governorate and the multiplicity of Economic Activities due to the versification of its nature,the attendees also discussed the logistical problems faced by exporters and importers from both sides. In addition to the most important sectors that both sides are interested in.

Mr. Marc-Trade Counsellor at Canada Embassy underlined that meeting with prominent Business Institutions alike ABA’s is important to strengthening Canada-Egypt bilateral relations, especially as we commemorate the seven decades anniversary of friendship between Canada and Egypt.

The Meeting was attended by a group of distinguished members of the association interested in dealing with the Canadian side.
